Kaptai Lake is the largest artificial lake of Bangladesh, created for hydroelectricity in the year 1960. This lake is located in the Kaptai Upazila under Rangamati District. The lake is dotted with islands, which creates unquestionably beautiful scenario of forested mountains and highland climb from within the water.
